Each of our projects is completely unique, takes shape in a mutual collaboration, and is steered by your research and your research process. Here are some examples of ways in which we can work together...
Working collaboratively
We are excited to find out what really drives you, and what you find meaningful about your research. Through conversations with you and the research team (and potentially research participants), we collaboratively explore which part of your project best lends itself to a creative strand, whether this be about the projects' origin story, the "making of", a form of interfacing with research participants, or a way to communicate research findings.
Writing grant applications
We are happy to be contacted when you are in the early stages of developing a project. We are experienced and successful grant writers and we know the health research funding landscape. We know that funders welcome a thoroughly thought out plan for creative public involvement, engagement, and dissemination. Through discussions we can develop a plan that makes sense for the project as a whole.
Patient and Public Involvement
We are experts at patient and public involvement, and we know how to make your public and patient involvement meaningful and interesting. By taking an intentional and creative approach, your PPI process can also be a lasting part of your project output. We can think together about ways that you could use visual methods to communicate about interim findings with your patient advisory group or the general public.
Broadening dissemination
If you have already completed a research project, we can help to identify and reach new audiences. We work to communicate the meaning and significance of your research. We are also happy to put together a tailored dissemination plan, including social media, science festivals, mainstream film festivals, and conferences. This is so that your film can find the audience that would benefit from finding out about your research.
