Maayan Matz Ashkenazi
As an anthropologist and designer, Maayan's work spans projects that encompass social research, visual methods and creative interventions. With an almost exclusively public sector project list, she has worked with high profile clients including Network Rail, GLA, NHS, and numerous London Boroughs. Her work is linked by a relations-centred design approach that seeks to engage multiple actors in complex conversations through an innovative use of visual and creative methods. Maayan's output remains varied, working with clients to reflect the needs of each project. Unrendered Road, a film she co-wrote with the director reflecting on personal and political erasure in the context of injustices in Palestine, was an official selection at the Rotterdam Film Festival.
